Correre a roma è anche avere il tempo per un dialogo tra amici, uno scambio di punti di vista sullo sfondo della nostra vita veloce. Ecco come Daniele Silvioli vive il suo sguardo su Roma.
Correre a Roma: si percepisce la sua grandezza?
Non esiste altra città che riesca a trasmettere in modo così intenso la sua storia e la sua civiltà come può farlo Roma agli occhi e ai piedi di un runner.
Calpestare il terriccio del Circo Massimo, piegare l’erba nei parchi dei Principi Borghese e Pamphili, incunearsi tra i sampietrini di Piazza Navona.
Saltellare sul basolato della Via Appia sono solo alcuni dei privilegi concessi, e forse non sempre apprezzati, a chi corre per le vie della Capitale.

Basterebbe questo per capire quanto percepiamo, nel contraccolpo delle nostre falcate, tutta l’immensità della grandezza di Roma nel corso dei secoli.
E se ciò non bastasse ci viene in soccorso la memoria visiva delle grandi opere architettoniche, veri e propri baluardi toponomastici per il podista che spesso vi associa le tappe fondamentali di un suo percorso d’allenamento.
Riusciamo ad andare oltre la quotidiana indifferenza, correndo tra le vie di Roma…
Essere immersi nella grandezza di Roma ha inversamente generato, in chi ci vive, un marcato sentimento d’indifferenza, apatia e inciviltà che il podista, più di altri, subisce e accusa.
Marciapiedi sporchi, automobilisti aggressivi, piste ciclabili risibili sono alcune sfaccettature di una disaffezione endemica verso il patrimonio di Bellezza che la Storia ha portato intatto ai giorni nostri.
Quando corri in questi luoghi vedi sempre tutto? Siamo in grado di andare oltre la fatica e annullarci per gioire del fascino romano?
La scelta dei luoghi in cui correre spesso aiuta ed interagisce con l’allenamento del podista romano.
Ognuno ha delle preferenze, spesse volte dettate da eventi, ricordi, incontri passati. Luoghi legati a emozioni e sentimenti dove il ritrovarsi fa sentire più liberi, sereni ed in pace con il mondo.
Sono luoghi magici, particolari come possono esserlo per noi come per nessun’altro. Le mie preferenze sono per l’area archeologica racchiusa tra Circo Massimo e Colosseo oltre al centro storico dei rioni, dei vicoli e dei nasoni (le caratteristiche fontanelle di strada di Roma) dove conservo i miei più bei ricordi della mia infanzia.

L’occhio fotografico sa fissare ciò che noi non arriviamo a vedere. La luce del cielo della nostra città, i palazzi e le strade, sono sempre tuoi compagni ideali.
Correre a Roma è puntare l’obiettivo personale su strade eterne
Non credo che esita obiettivo o macchina fotografica che possa restituire la “visione” che ogni podista ha della sua Roma.
Lo scatto fotografico immortala un’istante di storia ma Roma è la Storia senza tempo, è il presente, il passato ed il futuro tutto insieme.
E’ un percorso logico e illogico di assonanze e dissonanze tra un lembo di asfalto che sormonta un porfido millenario, o di uno spigolo paracarri papalino che impedisce il parcheggio di un motorino.
Roma è quello che vediamo ma soprattutto quello che vorremmo che fosse, sogni proibiti come quelli di un obiettivo cronometrico impossibile. Ma se corri a Roma tutto è possibile…
